Rave Reviews

The venue is beautiful and the sound is excellent. The volunteers were proud to be there and it showed. An overall amazing experience. This was my first time attending an event at the MCA and plan on going again.

Excellent show. Our first at the Centre but not our last (2 more booked). We agonized over seat selection but there really isn't a bad seat in the house!

We recently moved to Milton, and one of the perks of living here, is being so close to the Milton Centre for the Arts...a beautiful venue offering so much in arts and entertainment industry. We love the intimate "up close and personal" size of the theatre, great acoustics and roomy, comfortable seating. To top it all, a wonderful, courteous staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the shows we have been to - the latest being "Jim Cuddy and his Band"...what a great performance! Looking forward to our next show "Dark Side of the Moon"! Thank you!

Facility Design

The design of the Milton Centre for the Arts was inspired by the beauty of the natural landscape of Milton and surrounding conservation areas. The use of limestone, wood finishes and glass reflect the themes of water, agriculture, escarpment and community. The Centre was designed to facilitate expansive natural light, creating a vibrant, dynamic and inspiring atmosphere.

Performing Arts Spaces

The beauty and professionalism of the Mattamy Theatre is what immediately strikes facility patrons as they enter to watch a performance for the first time. The theatre was designed with flexible lighting options to accommodate both large-scale and more intimate performances. The smaller-scale MinMaxx Hall is a flexible space with telescopic seating to accommodate cabarets, theatre presentations and more.

Visual Arts Spaces

Explore the talent and creativity of the arts community in the Holcim Gallery, or register for an arts program to create your own masterpiece in the studios, featuring loads of natural light and inspiring views.

In 2009, Milton Council approved the accelerated construction of the Milton Centre for the Arts (MCA), thanks to a $16.2 million investment from the Building Canada Fund - Communities Component. This $39.3 million project was funded through provincial and federal grants, dedicated to community infrastructure projects.
